Dr. Carolee Dasher uses more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry to help Federal and State Employee’s nationwide with their benefits. She is a Chartered Federal Employee Benefit Instructor and member, President of Prosperity Integrated Planning, and an affiliate with FEDtax Planners based in Ohio. She is dedicated to helping federal employees in honor of the generations of veterans who served in her family dating back to the American Revolution (DAR).

After graduating Wayne State University, Carolee attended law school at Ohio Northern University in Ohio. There she was nominated for “Most Outstanding Female Graduate” award. Thereafter, a tragedy led her down a different career path not directly related to her accomplished legal career. The challenges and experiences she faced led her to helping others with benefits, entitlements, and other financial tools available in planning for the “unknown”.  She applied her formal education in analyzing effective ways to help others plan better.  Her discovery of learning employee benefits was the largest piece of most Americans’ financial security.  This discovery led to creating a financial security planning model known as “Advanced Worth Planning” to maximize employee benefits as well as other benefits, entitlements, and programs.

She began working in the federal environment with Honorable Post Master’s from the United States Post Office.  At the time, they were facing a VER which was headed to a RIF.  Concerns centered around what benefits would be available, who qualified for benefits and what would be the next step. She was honored to assist and fulfill the need of educating and preparing Honorable Post Masters for the next chapter in their career.  Since then she has helped thousands of federal employees with their federal employee benefits as well as active military service members and veterans to ensure they get what they have earned and are entitled too.

Carolee’s formal education includes a B.S.W. and a JD, Doctor of Jurisprudence. She is insurance licensed and pursuing a securities license and CEBS certification to maintain the highest credentials.  Carolee has published on many topics concerning government employee benefits and financial strategies.  Her speaking engagements expand across the nation with many organizations and agencies within the federal government. She has been honored with many awards for her services. Recently, her topics of discussion include federal retirement plans, military benefits, disability, social security, Medicare, Medicaid, FEGLI, Long Term Care, TSP, importance of estate planning and the impact of taxes. She is a member of NARFE, NAIFA, Benefit Specialists, AARP, UPMA, and BC. She founded the F.F.E.B.A. organization and remains an affiliated member.  Her work involves many agencies including USPS, VA, DOD, FBI, DOA, ATF, FAA, TSA, DOJ, DEA, DHS, NASA, IRS, FBI and all branches of the Armed Forces.
